FAQ's

How do we get on and off the floats?

Everyone is supported on to the floats by the pool side by two staff members, to get on and off the floats. The staff guide people how to position themselves to ensure positioned safely and correctly without getting wet/falling in. It is very simple and easy process.

 

What If I need to go the toilet during a session?

All sessions last between 60-90minutes, however if you do need to go the toilet or require assistance with anything, you simply put your hand up and the staff member who is in the pool will attend to you and your needs.

 

What locations do you cover?

We currently cover Hertfordshire ( Ware Lido and Westminster Lodge at St Albans), Bedfordshire (Woburn Lido) and Kent (Sevenoaks Leisure Centre). More locations coming soon.

 

I can’t swim, can I still attend?

Depending on your swimming ability, this will have to comply with our risk assessment. It is possible to still attend, as we will ensure you will be in the shallow end at all times and have staff monitoring you very carefully to make sure you are safe.

 

I have a health condition, can I still attend?

A waiver form and risk assessment is required by all attendees to complete before the event, if health conditions complies within our assessment you can still attend.

 

Can I make a group booking?

Yes of course! We also have the option to host private events, please email us to discuss the party size and location you wish for this to take place.

 

What do I wear?

After all sessions you have the choice if you would like to have a “dip” in the pool afterwards, if this is preferred choice, recommended to wear swim wear on the floats, if not you can wear own clothing, something comfortable would be best😊 You can also choose swimwear even if you’re not going to go into the pool.

 

What happens during a session?

All sessions begin with mindfulness meditation to settle you into the space, the sound healing will begin afterwards, to include Reiki Drumming, Tibetan Bells, Tibetan bowls and Crystaline sound bowls. If attending a session to include Reiki, our Reiki Master will conduct this in the pool during the sound healing. Gentle meditation is provided to help you come out of the session before having the option of the pool “dip” or simple being assisted out. Mindful message cards will be provided for you all to choose after each session.

What do I need to bring to a session?

Water, blanket, swimwear and towel (if going into the pool after the session) and yourself!

Are the beds safe? Do they deflate?

Our staff thoroughly check each bed before the event and during the event. We have staff members always monitoring in the pool and on poolside as well as a lifeguard in attendance throughout. You will also see the staff member in the pool re checking the valve before attendees get onto the floats. Although we can't offer 100% guarantee that no bed will ever deflate, we would act very quickly on it if it did.

What if I snore?

Please do not fret about this, the sound of the pool, sound bowls and nature sounds (if outdoors) will take over any noises😊 be comforted you can let yourself fully relaxed.

What if I fall asleep?

No problem at all! We have staff monitoring at all times to ensure everyone is safe and well.

I am interested in hosting my own floating sound bath sessions. Do you offer training?
